My first steps in crypto.

Where to start?
Here, it’s not bad.

Why invest in crypto?

Cryptos: a wealth of opportunities

Behind crypto and its reputation lies a wealth of opportunities. First and foremost, decentralization, which now enables everyone to exchange money, without the intermediary of banks. A new, freer and less costly way of looking at money flows. Then, of course, there's the democratization of investment: the stock market and real estate aren't accessible to everyone. Crypto, with its low entry prices, is! Finally, there's the promise of financial freedom: the choice to do what you want with your money on the one hand, but also the opportunity to build your wealth thanks to this fast-growing sector.

Where to start?

There's room for all crypto investors, from the cautious to the intrepid. The first step is to know your risk profile, which will enable you to choose your investment strategies.

Risk profiles

Holder

The crypto version of the squirrel. Favor DCA strategies during the bear market, bet on BTC and ETH, and HODL! (Crypto term meaning: don't sell!)

Balanced

40% in Bitcoin and Ether, and the rest in altcoins: a profile that loves adventure, but even more so stability.

Dynamic

You're not afraid to buy, sell or trade at any time, and your nerves are on edge: congratulations, you're dynamic!

Create your portfolio

Now that you know your profile, it's time to create your investment portfolio. Determine how much you want to invest annually in crypto, and choose the strategies and allocations that suit you best. There are many strategies you can consider, but we've selected 3 main ones to suit all profiles.

Allocation strategies

Collect during the bear, enjoy during the Bull.

It's a strategy that won't take up much of your time: buy during the crypto winter, sell during the bullrun. You can either buy during price drops, set up a Recurring Buy, or put your cryptos in staking, and wait.

Active on Bitcoin, passive on altcoins.

If you want to be more dynamic, we recommend being active on Bitcoin movements: buy when the price falls, sell as soon as you've made a capital gain, and start again. With altcoins, which are more unpredictable, take your time and let the months pass before arbitraging.

It's not easy to know when to buy and when to sell. If you're looking for dynamism, but still want a safety net, discover our offers and levels of support.

How to swap

Taking profits doesn't necessarily mean getting euros back. Many investors convert their cryptos... into crypto. This is known as swapping. Here are two strategies to add to your sleeve:

Exchange strategies

From crypto to stablecoin.

Are the crypto markets too volatile, or too bearish for you, and you'd like to take a break? Instead of returning to euros, you can convert your cryptos into stablecoin, those cryptos backed by currencies such as the dollar-backed USDC, or commodities such as the gold-backed PAX GOLD. Come back to the crypto market when you're ready.

From crypto to crypto.

Have you made a nice capital gain on one of your altcoins? You can take advantage of this by exchanging it for another crypto. A popular triumvirate is Bitcoin to Ether to altcoins, because after a good performance by Bitcoin, this usually feeds through to ether and then altcoins, chronologically.
